“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary
principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection ..."
- Hebrews 6:1
We believe that the global Church as it is today is far from the God-intended purpose for the Church and that emphasis has been on men's ideas and a desire to comform to the world's expectation of the Church - a thing synonymous to the Old Testament captivity of God's people in Babylon! Today, many men and women are busy building their own churches; their empires of fame, wealth and forced respect and have neglected the building of Christ's Church. To this end, there is a call to reformation; the rebuilding of accurate kingdom structures; a revelation of the kingdom and a departure from playing church!
We believe therefore that as it was in the Old Testament - the shadow, there is a return also in the New Testament, which is the realitiy in Christ Collosians 2:17. This is a return to the God-intended order; a return to the true worship of God, which is neither here nor there, but within - from the spirit-man John 4:23-24; a return from "playing church" and keeping "traditions of men", to living the true Life of the kingdom Galatians 2:8; a return from "observing rules and regulations" and "trying in the flesh" to maintain uprightness, to being led consistently by the Spirit of God Collosians 2:20-23; a return to live accurate kingdom lifestyle that is founded on true God-centred Kingdom structures and principles.
The message of Word of Reformation is that of breaking out of religion and traditions of men Collosians 2:8; leaving the elementary principles and moving towards perfection (Maturity) in Christ Hebrews 6:1; recognising that although the salvation in Christ is very important, it is more importantly only a means to an end - the end being "forming of Christ in us" Galatians 4:19 or in other words, the perfection of SONS Hebrews 2:10. Salvation is but a means to an end and not an end in itself, and as declared in Galatians 5:1, every believer in Christ should know that, “It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us FREE” Galatians 5:1; the word FREE being from Sin and FREEDOM being from the law (striving to attain God’s righteous standard in the flesh).
This is the experience of consistent SPIRITUAL GROWTH by every believer in Christ; knowing God in increasing depth until the exact representation of His likeness birthed in us through Christ Jesus, is also increasingly evident in an internally generated and externally displayed effortless holy lifestyle (that is, devoid of any fleshly effort) as we consistently enter practically into living by the Spirit to the glory of God 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Most importantly, we believe that JESUS CHRIST is the centre of all Kingdom activities, beginning from salvation, to perfection Hebrews 12:2. He is LORD!
